Paying it forward & empowering the community
Terry feels blessed to live and work in Longmont and the northern Front Range area.
Since moving here in 2011, she’s been committed to giving back to the community,
volunteering her energy and expertise to a number of non-profits and organizations whose primary purpose is to come along-side people dealing with all manner of life challenges.
Terry’s work in the community has included:
- Developing a Career Day at Columbine Elementary School, encouraging children to be all they can be by exposing them to an array of professions and vocations.
- Being a founding Board member of Recovery Cafe Longmont, including developing the design plan and all finishes for the Recovery Cafe space, and volunteering in various other capacities.
- Providing Interior design at no cost to St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity, including developing updated selections and finishes for new Habitat homes.
- Volunteering at the OUR center.
- Volunteering at the Westview Presbyterian Church Round Pantry.

“We found Terry to be the most helpful person in our entire kitchen remodel process. Terry is professional, warm, friendly, and very good at helping clients determine what their own passions are in terms of design. We were naive in the entire process and she helped us every step of the way. She was extremely reliable, very fair with her prices and always returned calls in a timely fashion. One of the most intimidating things for us was picking out kitchen granite. Terry went with us to the granite store, and while not influencing our decision, she was able to reflect and organize our thoughts and choices. She will give as little or much input as you desire-depending on how comfortable you are with your ability. Also, in terms of staying on budget, Here is an example: When evaluating our remodel space, Terry was also drawn to the adjacent room (dining room) and had some suggestions about changing lighting and tile in that room. However, we only had a “kitchen remodel” in our budget, so she did not push the idea when we were firm that we couldn’t do that currently. You will find her flexible and easy to work with. She is an excellent communicator. We are still consulting with her on a project, even though her part of it was done.”
